Today is my five... favourite books. I have waaaay more than 5 but these are the some of my recent favs.

1. The Alchemist, by Paulo Coelho
2. The Book Thief, by Markus Zusak
3. The Shadow of the Wind, by Carlos Ruiz Zafon
4. The Help, by Katheryn Stockett (still reading just now)
5. The Memory Keeper's Daughter, by Kim Edwards

I'm always after a good read, especially for over the summer months. Any recommendations?

  1. ok this has taken some time to think about, hence the delay, so here goes;

    1. Wuthering Heights - all time, ultimate classic love story, beautiful.
    2. Great Gatsby - another classic, loved it.
    3. 'No and Me' - just finished this one after hiring it from the library. A good, quick read. Set in Paris.
    4. Maybe Tomorrow - read this one in the middle of my search to find Aboriginal Literature, highly recommend it.
    5. The Crying Tree - just in to the fourth chapter on this one, but it's looking good already.

    Let me know if you try any of them. I'm going to try out some of yours over the summer.
