People often think, "I'll be happy when _______." (fill in the blank with money/house/holiday/car/etc.). But in actual fact, it works the other way. We first have to BE HAPPY in our current reality to receive into our lives all the other stuff we dream about and desire.
I believe the same theory is true for business. New business start-ups often think that they will be happy and proud of themselves when they are 'a success'. But is regarded as a success? Is it financial gain? Is it having your work published? Is it praise from your peers? Is it getting 10,000 Facebook fans?
I like to look on it as you are ALREADY a success. You have had the inspired idea. You have started to put plans in place to make it happen. You might even be ready to quit your day job to give all your energy to your new business! The courage to take the leap, regardless of how big or small, means your are SUCCESSFULLY creating your future! Stay in this positive place with your eye on the prize and you will get there!

Live your WILDEST dreams!
What would you wish for if you could have ANYTHING in the entire Universe? A better job? Bigger house? Nice holidays?
I've spent some time recently thinking about this and I've realised that when we are asked what we wish for most, we are often very modest and reserved with our ask. We try to pick something that seems 'within our reach'. Something that we think is realistic. And not too 'greedy'.
But really, if you could have ANYTHING by simply just asking, why not ask for it all? Instead of the slightly larger house, why not ask for your DREAM beach house, filled with light and air, where you can entertain your friends and family and do your morning yoga practice on the beach? Rather than that promotion, why don't you ask to be an AMAZING business person, doing what you LOVE and making more $ than you could ever have imagined? I think we often don't want to appear materialistic or greedy but if having all of these things allows us more time to spend with our family, the freedom to spend that summer travelling Europe, eating gelato in Italy and sipping expensive champagne in France, wouldn't that be ok?
I'm making a conscious effort to dream BIG. Why not join me! What is there to loose?

Gratitude
Recently, I've started keeping a little daily gratitude list. Every night, before I go to sleep, I write a list of all the things I have been grateful for that day. It's such a lovely way to end the day and I find really reinforces my belief that every day can be AWESOME if we just pay attention to all the little miracles that are happening all around us, all the time!

Stop and remember...
This is a great one for me. It's so easy to let our minds wander aimlessly and get stuck in a rut but we can change our mood at ANY time. We just have to change what we are focusing on. Easy!
Have an AWESOME day!

The Karma Project - Week 1
Let's kick off The Karma Project! So excited!
PROJECT FOR WEEK 1
Give something 'good' from your wardrobe to the a local op shop
We've all got that dress/top/pair of jeans lurking at the back of the wardrobe that, if we're honest with ourselves, we'll never wear again but we just can't seem to get rid of it. This week is the opportunity to say your goodbyes and give it a new home!
Just think how AWESOME someone will feel when they find a little GEM at the op shop in amongst all the not so great donations that op shops sadly get!

The Karma Project
I've been reading so many inspiring blogs and books recently all about positivity, karma and the law of attraction. Basically, it all about putting good out there into the Universe and you'll get good back.
Some of my favourites are...
In Spaces Between - my new daily must-read! Rach writes so beautifully and her posts always leave me feeling energised and pumped!
Tiny Buddha - I just got Lori's book a few weeks back and it's full to the brim with great advice and wisdom.
Positively Positive - thought-provoking articles on topics like work, relationships and parenting.
A Life of Perfect Days - Connie writes about how to make each and every day you best day possible. So empowering.
In a bid to de-clutter my online life, this week I've unsubscribed to lots of blogs and Facebook pages to allow me to focus on the ones that I feel are important to me right now. It's so cleansing and refreshing! I strongly recommend it!
With all this positivity and good-feeling, I've decided to start a little project...
The Karma Project will be posted every Friday afternoon, setting a project for the week. All the projects will be based around creating good feelings and being NICE! I'll then post on a Friday morning to tell you how the week went!
It would be AMAZING if you jumped on the 'Karma train' with me! Let's start spreading the love!
Week 1 project to be posted shortly...

Up for a challenge???
I saw this great image on the wonderful Pinterest last week which got me to thinking... when was the last time I did something for the first time???
For many of us, it's been way too long - a little stuck in the daily routine. Well today is the day for a shake-up!
My challenge to you ALL to do something today for the fist time. It doesn't have to be anything HUGE - just something.
I'd love to hear what you decide to do...

INSPIRE PRINTS : No. 2
This weeks FREE downloadable print is simple but so powerful in its message. I've been practicing this all week and I've already had some amazing results! Before, I would have put it down to coincidence or good luck but I know now that it was ME who is creating them! How awesome is that!
One example was getting a car park right outside the hospital for my appointment on Thursday. I'm always running in the door 2 minutes late but this time there was no heavy traffic, not very many red lights and a FREE 2 hour park just 5 minutes walk from the front entrance!
I've never much been into horoscopes but today I decided to have a bit of fun and look to see if todays aligned with this new found positivity... I made the decision to google "leo horoscope' and click on the first result. Take a look...
Today, the 7th of October.
You can either fall into negative ways of thinking (not recommended!) or you can remember that we create our reality with our thoughts and do your utmost to keep your thoughts positive. Remember, thoughts become things, so it's up to us to choose the good ones. When we focus on something, we draw it to us. So when we focus on what we don't want, we... Draw it to us! Get it? This is such a crucial lesson for you to learn right now as Saturn goes through your Mind Zone.
Pretty amazing - don't you think!
Have a fab weekend!

A genius of our generation
Today, a genius of our generation sadly passed away. This was a man who said that he lived everyday like his last. And just look at what that achieved! He could never have known just how influential he would be on todays society. Or did he...? So today, let's celebrate being BRAVE and BOLD and making the most of every minute.

Deal of the Day : You can have ANYTHING you want!
Today has been a quiet day. We went to the beach. This past few weeks have been quiet weeks. I like it. I have most definitely had a shift in focus lately. I'm not sure if it has to do with soon becoming a mother of a newborn again, or perhaps the change in season but things are just different. Slower. I find myself daydreaming about the future, about Gabriel and his little brother or sister and what our world will look like a little further down the track.
I was reading an article lately that asked, "If you could have ANYTHING in your life, you just had to ask for it, what would it be?" It's such a difficult question. I think when we 'wish' for things, we aim for something that seems somewhat attainable. Within our reach. It got me thinking... The idea of wanting and wishing for something has never really sat very comfortably with me. That desire for material possessions and 'wealth'. But, on the other hand, shouldn't we all be allowed (and encouraged) to want to better ourselves and the lives of those close to us? I'm not talking about a private jets and houses around the world but if we are 'wishing', why shouldn't we wish for the big, open, light-filled house by the beach with a big back yard for our children to play and explore and a job that fulfils us and gives us that perfect balance? Why do we have to settle? We tell our children to aim for the stars, that they can do whatever and be whatever they want. We take them to the park and pretend we're on safari and there are lions and tigers lurking behind the climbing frame. Why shouldn't we allow ourselves the same level of adventure and excitement?
Take 10 minutes today and have a BIG daydream...

Hello! My name is Lucas and I'm Brazilian. Since I arrived in Australia a lot of beautiful things happened in my life, so on the day I turned 30 I decided to celebrate in a special way, being grateful to the people of Sydney. :)
Thank you so much to all my friends who helped make this happen, without you it would not have been possible. And thank you to everyone who lives in Australia, making this country such a wonderful place.
A big hug, Lucas.

INSPIRE PRINTS : No. 1
Over the last few weeks I have been reading so many wonderful new blogs and books and they all have a common theme... the power of positive thinking. I'm making a conscious effort to think only good, positive thoughts and to ignore all the negativity that so often fills our minds.
My contribution to this 'good vibe flow' is to create positive, inspiring prints. They are all A4, hi res jpgs so feel free to use them on your blog, Facebook, Pinterest, etc. or print off a copy and use it in your home or office as a little reminder that positivity brings positivity.
